HERE’S SOMETHING REMARKABLE FOR YOU! STUDY: Muscle-Specific Strength Training Reduces Neck Pain The five videos represent specific exercises that were part of a very well designed study regarding neck pain. The investigators showed that women who suffered chronic neck aches, due to trapezius myalgia (upper neck muscle pain), had remarkable (79%) marked reduction in pain. In addition, the subjects even experienced prolonged relief with regular strength training. The supervised strength training exercises were performed for 20 minutes, three times a week. The weight resistance was changed/added according to strength gained over the period of the study. The five exercises include:
- One-Arm Row
- Shoulder Abduction
- Shoulder Elevation
- Reverse Flies
- Upright Row
