Did you know that:

Moderate intensity aerobic exercise–meaning you keep breathing at a moderate pace (only 40-50% of your maximum oxygen uptake) performed only 3-5 times per week for 30-60 minutes per session, is effective at reducing blood pressure,  if  it is elevated.  As a matter of fact, the evidence is inconclusive that high intensity is more or less effective in managing hypertension.

So, bottom line: Get going….

I want to be clear that if you are working out at 60-90% of your Volume of Maximum Oxygen that you can let yourself simmer down.  Quite the contrary..There are many other reasons to work out hard too!
